The google alerts was very easy to use . All you had to do was type in whatever subject you want to be alerted on and add it into your alerts. This is good as an educational tool because it can help with managing time because I won't have to keep looking up updates about the subject, it will do it for me.

The google calendar was also very easy to use .This is a good educational tool because it can help me with time management. Looking at the calendar I can see what the day will look like and determine where there is extra time in the day to maybe go over something at the students did earlier in the day. It is also very good in keeping track with parents/ teacher appointments  and even other things such as doctor appointments.

Thing #11

I did not like doing this activity at all . It was very confusing for me to understand and go through the feeds. I did find it a lot easier to go through my feedly account  and go through my subscriptions than going through the RSS links.  Some interesting things I found was the Clutter Free Classroom link. It was cool to see different ways to  save money in the classroom .  I really didn't find anything that was unusual or strange . I did not find any other days to find other news feeds because I was comfortable using the Feedly account.

The five articles that I picked to check into weekly were:

                  5. Clutter Free Classroom

I like RSS and newsreaders because it does save a lot of time as far as looking up updated information. I would use this technology in school and in personal life because it saves time for me to look up stuff and gives me more time to do other things. Teachers can use RSS to  be updated  on the latest teaching trends and news. Teachers can also use it to help with lesson plans and coming up with new ways to teach and interact with the students .

This process was very easy to do . I just went to the link above and it took me to the smiley face generator and asked what kind of message I wanted to input in the board. After that I just generated it into computer and downloaded it into my blog. This generator is good in the classroom because this is a fun way for the students to be creative and show their individuality. This is a good interaction activity that can keep them interested . 

Thing # 8

This is something that can be used in the classroom to show diversity in letters and  how things in everyday life can be used to create something different. Is is a great activity to demonstrate creativity and how to see things in new life. It is also very cool to just see how different things look . Sharing photos of things that are not relevant is not a concern for me. I just don't like sharing photos that are personal on  the web .

Thing # 7

My photos that I have posted are of my graduation in 2012 . I chose these pictures to remind me of my future goal of graduating from this program . My Flickr experience was not too bad. I hated registering for an account through yahoo, but the process after that was not bad. It does not really bother me that my photos are public. I have used Facebook and its very similar in how you post photos onto your profile . The set up is different of course but its easy to use because of the experience I have with Facebook. There are no concerns that I have .

The website that I picked out is called Gameclassroom and the link for this site is located at the link above . It is a very easy and kid friendly website . It has links for grades K-6 and has games and worksheets for the students to do in every subject matter. I can see website being used within the classroom because it is a resourceful too. There really is not anything that I did not like about the webpage. Even though its very kid friendly I  liked how it also incorporated News letters and updated articles for teachers to look into and read .

Thing # 5

• What does "School 2.0" mean to you?

                  School 2.0 means that we are in an innovative era of teaching . We are not limited by space, time or distance but are able to reach knowledge through various amounts of kinds of technology.  The world of school is becoming a smaller place because now we are able to connect with other people in other countries and explore the world faster . School 2.0 means smaller distances with a large area of content knowledge to explore the limitless aspects of creativity, information, and cultures, perceptions and experiences.

• What does it mean for schools of the future?

                  In the future I see schools becoming more integrated  as a world wide school and not just the United States school or Asian schools. I see all of us using technology in the same way and in the same environment. Because of technology it is much easier to gain access to information to other news or information in other countries so why not have a world wide school where different countries can come together and learn together. It would be an interesting concept to see happen but I think it will be something that people will eventually venture into .
